About me

I love supporting writers and the literary community. In addition to providing freelance editing work for my amazing clients, I currently serve as the Florida Writers Association Royal Palm Literary Awards Submission Coordinator. I also work as a judge for the RPLA and give manuscript feedback on entries. I volunteer as Prose Editor for 3Elements Journal, a unique literary journal that publishes prose, poetry and artwork from writers and artists who create work using the required word prompts. I am a founding member of Fierce Females Writers, a writing group dedicated to supporting and encouraging members to be fearless in their writing and publishing pursuits.

Since 2001 I've worked as an editor for a variety of organizations, including trade papers, magazines, not-for-profit organizations, and literary journals, as well as with private clients. I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and completed the Professional Editing Certificate program through the University of Chicago. I've spent many volunteer hours reading and critiquing flash, short stories, and novels. I offer professional, honest feedback and would love to work with success-driven independent authors who are passionate about their writing and would like to elevate their words.

A few of the businesses I've worked for include The Ohio State Bar Association, The Knoxville Writers' Guild, Florida Writers Association, and Trader Publishing.
I grew up in the Midwest and currently live in Florida with my husband, daughters, and two dogs.
