I'm Alison.

I love connecting with writers and collaborating on projects! I specialize in editing novels, literary short stories, flash fiction, and anthologies, and self-help and health and fitness nonfiction. As your editor, I will ensure your writing is prepped, polished, and primed for publication.

I am passionate about copyediting and line editing, and have a keen eye for detail.

I look for issues with clarity, coherency, consistency, and correctness, and fix mechanical issues that make a manuscript look unprofessional.

I provide manuscript evaluations that help authors discover their stories' strengths and weaknesses.

For developmental edits, I work with authors on the overall cohesiveness of a project, including assisting with writing, structuring, and developing and executing the concept.

For beta reads, I provide feedback on the whole manuscript and the overall impression it makes.

I offer accountability groups for inspiration, support, and encouragement. These groups can help motivate you and keep you on track to meet your writing goals!
